Open to all students in grades k-6

At the MVBGC After School Program, children have the choice to participate in a variety of daily activities, but most importantly, they have the opportunity to just be kids.

Upon entry to the Club, all members are required to check-in and safely store their belongings in the bag room. When it is time to go, parents/guardians must check their child out. Members are free to come to the Club as often or as little as they like. There is no daily fee, just a yearly membership fee of $20. This is made possible only though the gracious generosity of our friends and donors.

Our island-wide club allows members to build and maintain friendships which span across town boarders, thus strengthening the future of our island community.

The Arts Department gives members the opportunity to express their creativity and learn through daily activities including painting, clay & pottery, drawing, gardening, and sculpture to name a few.

In our very own gym, daily physical activities take place, which encourage members of all skill levels to participate. These activities and free-play opportunities stress participation above competition and are vital for laying the foundation to living a healthy and active lifestyle.

In our Computer/Learning Lab, members have the opportunity to surf the web, read, play games, do research, and receive assistance with their homework. Our computers are equipped with internet content filters and a staff member is always there to help.

In the Games Room, members can engage each other in a multitude of different board and table games, compete in tournaments, watch movies, or just relax, have a snack, and socialize with friends. Highlights of the Games Room are the bumper pool, pool, fooseball, and ping pong tables, the socialization & snack area, and the 52" big screen TV.
